Mr. Sophroniou ran Mack’s on West from 2002 to 2010, where he also worked with his business partner and co-owner Guadalupe Xelhua.Even though the restaurant had only been open for three days, Andreas Sophroniou said his big seller has been his beef, lamb and chicken gyros. Other offerings included in the menu are appetizers such as spinach cheese pie, falafel, chick pea patties and baklava, a sweet traditional Greek dessert. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner and the food is prepared right in front of customers, such as Chipotle or subway. Sophroniou’s goal is “[to] have fresh meals ready quickly”.  When it comes to expanding the restaurant, Sophroniou is still not sure about expansions or additions yet, as he’s still getting accustomed to the business. He says however, that he will decide when things are more settled.
